Special Features:Park includes 5.6 miles of river frontage along the south fork of the Shenandoah River. The mountainous terrain is mostly wooded and features steep slopes with scenic vistas of Massanutten Mountain to the west and Shenandoah National Park (see separate entry in national parks section) to the east.
