(The USA: Economics, Politics, Ideology), a monthly scholarly sociopolitical journal published by the Institute of the USA and Canada of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR. Published in Moscow since 1970, the journal deals with Soviet-American relations and the domestic, foreign, and military policies of the USA. It includes articles on American industry, agriculture, finance, trade, transportation, science, and culture. The journal also features reports on the class struggle, the antitrust movement, the struggle against racial discrimination, and the social, economic, and political consequences of the scientific and technological revolution in the USA.
