T-wave inversionIn electrocardiography, the changing of the normal upright (convex) appearance of the ventricular repolarization to a concave tracing in which the concavity is depressed below the isoelectric line. T-wave inversion is often associated with ventricular hypertrophy, ventricular ectopic beats, and coronary ischemia, among other conditions. See also: inversion |
