Senmut

 

(also Sennemut, Senenmut). Born 16th century B.C; died 15th century B.C Ancient Egyptian architect. Senmut worked in Thebes. He built the temple of Queen Hatshepsut in Deir el Bahri and directed work on the temples of the god Amon-Re and the goddess Mut in Karnak and various temples in Luxor and Hermonthis.
