Baihe

a river in the northern part of the Chinese People’s Republic; one of the rivers that make up the Haihe, which empties into Bohaiwan Bay on the Yellow Sea. It is 560 km in length; its basin area is 280,000 sq km. In its lower course, the Baihe flows through the Great Chinese Plain in a wide terraced valley. It is navigable.
