Senno

a city and administrative center of Senno Raion, Vitebsk Oblast, Byelorussian SSR. Senno is located 58 km southwest of Vitebsk and 15 km from the Burbin railroad station, on the Lepel’-Orsha line. The city has a construction materials combine and factories for producing nonfat dry milk and processing flax, fruits, and vegetables. A brickyard is nearby, and peat is excavated in the vicinity.
