State: FloridaBailed a friend out of jail that was on probation but commited a crime. I asked the bails bond lady if that was going to be a problem. She said no and we will get him out right away. She got him out the next day and then within 20 hours he went right back in because he violated his probation. When I set bail for him I was 600 short and she made me sign a personal guarantee for the rest. She did not sign or write the bond amount on any of the original copies that I have. I do not think that she should have said everything is fine to bail him out knowing he is just going to go right back in because of probation. I also do not feel that I should have to pay the remainder of the 1000 for her bailing him out for less than 20 hours. Please let me know what you think my best shot in this would be. According to her I still owe 600, which I do not have.

Based on what you say here, you could probably file suit against them (or at least threaten to do so) in small claims court or in regular court; filing in small claims court is easier and requires no attorney...you could try to collect all of the costs and damages that you suffered due to their behavior... you can argue she misled you--
