A world-class oncology centre specialising in cancer diagnosis, treatment, research and education. The Marsden operates hospitals in London and Surrey, and is the largest and most comprehensive cancer centre in Europe; it partners with The Institute of Cancer Research to develop new cancer drug therapies and treatments. It was founded in 1851 by William Marsden, whose vision was to create a pioneering cancer hospital dedicated to excellence in the study, treatment and care of people with cancer.
