Smirnov Spring

a carbon dioxide bicarbonate-sulfate sodium-calcium mineral spring at the Zheleznovodsk health resort. The spring was named in honor of the doctor S. A. Smirnov in 1898. The water is used to treat diseases of the organs of the digestive system and metabolic disorders. [23–1826–]
