Special Features:Park is located in an area where the headwaters of the Sonoma Creek runthrough gorge and canyon, then across the meadow floor beneath scenicrock outcroppings surrounded by redwoods and saddleback ferns. On cleardays, from the 2,729-foot summit of Bald Mountain visitors can see theSierra Nevada and the Golden Gate. An observatory located within thepark offers year-round astronomy education and interpretive programs.
