Tiazhinskii

an urban-type settlement and administrative center of Tiazhinskii Raion, Kemerovo Oblast, RSFSR. Tiazhinskii is situated on the Tiazhin River in the Ob’ River basin, 221 km northeast of the city of Kemerovo. Tiazhinskii has a railroad station on the Novosibirsk-Achinsk line. The settlement has a logging and timber distribution establishment, a brewery and nonalcoholic beverages factory, a combine for canning milk products, and a livestock-fattening sovkhoz.
