Reactance Transistor

It has a number of disadvantages, such as instability of its parameters with temperature changes and a current drain in the control-voltage circuit, which have limited its applications. In superhigh-frequency radio equipment, the function of a reactance transistor is more effectively fulfilled by a varicap (varactor).
