Bazumskii Range
Bazumskii Range
a mountain range of the Lesser Caucasus in the northern Armenian SSR. Length, about 70 km; height, to 2,992 km in the west (Mount Urasar) and 3,016 m in the east (Mount Khalab). The range is composed of igneous sedimentary rock with granite intrusions. Meadow-steppes predominate on the slopes; at higher altitudes there are subalpine and alpine meadows and near the Pambak Gorge broad-leaved forests.
