PC bus
(1) The data pathway between the CPU and peripherals in a PC. See PC data buses.(2) The official name of the 8-bit bus architecture used in first-generation IBM PCs and XTs. The PC bus was superseded by the 16-bit AT bus, later known as ISA, which also accepted 8-bit PC bus cards. See ISA bus and PC data buses.
