Sergei Barbolin

Barbolin, Sergei Dmitrievich

 

Born 1897 in Moscow; died 1917 in Moscow. One of the organizers of the proletarian youth movement. Graduated from trade school. Worked in 1917 as a machinist at the Svarz Factory.

Barbolin participated in the creation of the “Third International” Union of Working Youth in Sokol’niki Raion. He was fatally wounded on Oct. 29 (Nov. 11) in the October armed uprising in Moscow, during the assault on the city administration building on Tver’ Boulevard.
