Sergei Kaznacheev

Kaznacheev, Sergei Konstantinovich

 

Born Aug. 8 (20), 1895, in Moscow; died there Sept. 11, 1956. Soviet defense lawyer.

Kaznacheev graduated from the Moscow Institute of National Economy in 1919. He became a member of the Moscow city barin 1923. Kaznacheev acted as defense lawyer in important de-fense trials, such as the case of the British spies in 1927 and thecase of the former officials of the Lena Goldfields concession in1930.
