Price, Gwilym A. (Alexander)

(1895–1985) corporate executive; born in Canonsburg, Pa. Trained as a lawyer, he was briefly president of the Peoples-Pittsburgh Trust Company before becoming president and CEO (1946–60) and chairman (1960–63) of Westinghouse Electric Corporation. His tenure at Westinghouse was marked by the company's pioneering work on atomic energy.
