Vestnik Kommunisticheskoi Akademii
(Journal of the Communist Academy), a scholarly journal; organ of the Communist Academy. It was published in Moscow from November 1922 through October 1935. The first six issues (1922-23) bore the title Vestnik Sotsialisticheskoi akademii (Journal of the Socialist Academy). Vestnik Kommuni-sticheskoi akademii contained articles and reports on K. Marx, F. Engels, and V. I. Lenin; on problems of the social sciences and economics, Marxism-Leninism, and world history and the history of the USSR; on general questions of dialectical and historical materialism, of the history of philosophy, economics, the state and law, and so on. It reviewed the work of the Communist Academy, the Marx-Engel s-Lenin Institute, the Institutes of the Red Professoriat, and the like. At various times M. N. Pokrovskii, O. Iu. Shmidt, N. M. Lukin, A. M. Deborin, V. P. Miliutin, and F. A. Rotshtein were on the editorial staff.
