Suliukta
a city (since 1940) under oblast jurisdiction in Osh Oblast, Kirghiz SSR. Situated in the northern spurs of the Turkestan Range. Connected by a 37-km branch line with the Proletarsk station on the Khavast-Kokand line. Population, 20,000 (1975). Brown coal is mined near Suliutka. The city has a meatpacking combine, a butter factory, a brickyard, and various enterprises of the clothing industry.
