Rudnova, Zoia Nikolaevna

 

Born Aug. 19, 1946, in Moscow. Soviet table-tennis player. Honored Master of Sports (1959). Teacher.

Rudnova has many times been champion of the world, Europe, and the USSR. She has won the open championships of Austria, Great Britain, Hungary, the Netherlands, the Scandinavian countries, the Federal Republic of Germany, Czechoslovakia, and Yugoslavia, as well as a number of major international tournaments. As of 1974, Rudnova had won 147 sports medals, including 61 gold medals for victories in various classes at international competitions and 28 gold medals for victories in all-Union competitions.
