thalamic fasciculus

[TA] nerve fibers forming a composite bundle containing cerebellothalamic (crossed) and pallidothalamic (uncrossed) fibers that is insinuated between the thalamus and zona incerta.

thalamic fasciculus

A heterogeneous bundle of axons heading dorsally into the ventral anterior and ventral lateral thalamic nuclei. Axons in this fasciculus include part of the ansa lenticularis (from the globus pallidus) and axons from the contralateral deep cerebellar nuclei. See also: fasciculus
