Taldury Glacier
Taldury Glacier
a glacier on the slopes of the Southern Chuia Range in the Altai. The Taldury Glacier measures 8 km in length and covers an area of 22 sq km. It has its origin in seven flows in a cirque, within which are peaks rising to elevations of approximately 4,000 m. The glacier, which has an outlet in the northeast, in the Taldury River valley, has shrunk by 2 km in the last 70 years.
