Abrau-Diurso

(from the Abkhazian abrau— gap—and diursu —four sources), an urban-type settlement in Kras-nodarsk Krai, RSFSR, on Abrau Lake, 14 km west of Novorossiisk, connected to it by paved road. Population in 1968, 3,700. The champagnes and wines of its wineries are well known.
