Chiropractic
A posit that holds that most, if not all, diseases that respond to chiropractic manipulation do so because of released impingement on nerves—as well as impingement of blood vessels and lymphatics that pass through intervertebral foramina.
The rule was promulgated by Daniel David Palmer (1845–1913), founder of chiropractic.
