The best-known species is T. crocosmiiflora, an intergeneric hybrid (Crocosmia aurea × T. pottsii) often assigned to the genus Crocosmia. In regions having a mild climate the corms winter in the ground; in northern regions they are gathered for the winter. The inflorescences are suitable for cuttings. |
