A barrel-shaped incisor which, when accompanied by a central notch is a ‘classic’ finding in congenital syphilis. Peg teeth may also be seen in Williams—elfin-facies—syndrome, and in anhidrotic, hipohidrotic, and Robinson types of ectodermal dysplasia
