Summer Green Forests

forests composed of trees and bushes that shed their leaves and needles in winter (as opposed to evergreens). Deciduous summer green forests (for example, oak, birch, and beech forests) are found primarily in the northern hemisphere in lands with cool temperate climates; coniferous types grow in areas with continental climates. Many valuable varieties grow in summer green forests, including oak, beech, linden, poplar, and larch.
