an urban-type settlement; administrative center of Voskresenskoe Raion, Gorky Oblast, RSFSR. Located on the right bank of the Vetluga River, 67 km north-east of the Semenov railroad station on the Gorky-Koternich line. Population, 5,300 (1968). Voskresenskoe has a logging and timber distribution establishment and a creamery. There is also a folk theater and a museum of local lore.
