(prĭsĭl`ə) [diminutive of Lat. Prisca=ancient], in the New Testament, wife of AquilaAquila, in the New Testament, Christian of Jewish origin from Pontus who lived at Rome. He and his wife, Prisca or Priscilla, were friendly to Paul.
