an urban-type settlement in Issyk-kul’ Oblast, Kirghiz SSR, under the jurisdiction of the Przheval’sk city soviet. Landing on the east shore of Lake Issyk-Kul’, 12 km northwest of Przheval’sk and 206 km east of the Rybach’e railroad station (terminus of the line from Lugovaia station). The lake is a major shipping route between Pristan’Przheval’sk and Rybach’e. On the settlement outskirts, not far from the lake, are N. M. Przheval’skii’s grave, a monument to him, and the N. M. Przheval’skii Museum.
