Sunnagyn

 

(or Aldan-Uchur), a mountain range in northeastern Siberia, in the Yakut ASSR. It is located on the northeastern edge of the Aldan Plateau, between the Timpton and Uchur rivers, the latter of which is a tributary of the Aldan River. The range has elevations to 2,246 m. It is composed of schists, gneisses, and granites. The peaks are domal or flattened. The river valleys on the lower slopes are covered by larch forests, and at higher elevations there are mountain tundra vegetation and thickets of dwarf stone pine.
