Stantsiia-Termez

an urban-type settlement in Surkhandar’ia Oblast, Uzbek SSR, under the jurisdiction of the Termez city soviet. Population, 6,900 (1974). Stantsiia-Termez has a railroad station on the Karshi-Dushanbe line, and another line (264 km) is being built from the settlement to the Kurgan Tiube-Iavan line. Stantsiia-Termez has enterprises servicing railroad transport.
