Staraia Maina

an urban-type settlement and administrative center of Staraia Maina Raion, Ul’ianovsk Oblast, RSFSR. Located on the left bank of the Volga, at the Kuibyshev Reservoir, Staraia Maina is 34 km north of the Cherdakly railroad station on the Ul’ianovsk-Ufa line and 68 km northeast of Ul’ianovsk. It has a butter factory and a brickyard.
