Ružomberok

a city in Czechoslovakia, in the Central Slovakia Region of the Slovak Socialist Republic, on the Ván River, a tributary of the Danube. Population, 22,000 (1974). The city has cotton-cloth, pulp-and-paper, and food-processing industries.
