Tandovo

a lake in Novosibirsk Oblast, RSFSR, northeast of Lake Chany. The lake’s area is 87.8 sq km, and its maximum depth, 2.8 m. The water is slightly saline. At the eastern end of the lake, where the Tandovka River empties into it, the shores rise to a height of 5–8 m. The water level fluctuates by as much as 1.2 m. The lake freezes in early November and opens up in May.
