Facilities:120 campsites (@di; 94 with electrical hookups, 22 full-service, 9buddy sites, 26 non-electrical) with modern restrooms, showers, and aplayground in the campground, open picnic shelter (é), nature trail(1 mile), hiking trails (6 miles), swimming beach, boat rentals, boatramp, fishing jetty.
Activities:Camping, swimming, fishing, boating, hiking, snowmobiling.
Special Features:Viking Lake is one of the most popular state parks in southwest Iowa. A large portion of the park has been left in its natural state and has an abundance of wild flowers, plants, and wildlife.
