Starobeshevo

an urban-type settlement and administrative center of Starobeshevo Raion, Donetsk Oblast, Ukrainian SSR. Located on the Kal’mius River, 36 km southeast of Donetsk and 15 km from the Karakuba railroad station (terminus of a branch of the Ilovaisk-Rostov line). The P. N. Angelina Museum is found in Starobeshevo, and the Starobeshevo State Regional Electric Power Plant is located nearby.
