Location:1 mile east of Chariton, off US 34.
Facilities:Campground with 80 campsites (@di; 60 with electrical hookups), pavedroads, modern restrooms, showers, and playground; picnic areas, openpicnic shelters (é), hiking and multi-use trails, 72-acre lake,swimming beach, 2 boat ramps, fishing jetty.
Activities:Camping, boating (electric motors only), swimming, fishing, icefishing, hiking, snowmobiling; an additional 229 acres south of thepark are designated for public hunting.
Special Features:Park's trees, including hawthorns, oaks, maples, and pines, make it a lovely place to visit in all seasons.
