Severnaia Keltma
Severnaia Kel’tma
a river in the Komi ASSR; a left tributary of the Vychegda River of the Severnaia Dvina River basin. It measures 155 km long and drains an area of 7,960 sq km. The basin is extremely swampy. The river is fed predominantly by snow. It freezes in November, and the ice breaks up in April or early May. Timber is floated on the river.
