Fern-like leaves with yellow flat clusters on top. The whole plant is consumable. Tea made from leaves helps expel worms, parasites, calm gas, inflammation, jaundice (liver), and kidneys. Used as antiseptic and insecticide because of powerful compounds. Tea is ok for humans, but do NOT make or use any Tansy oil, because it is deadly. Do not take if pregnant.

A perennial weed that contains bitter glycosides, citric acid, oxalic acid, terpenoids and thujone, a volatile oil that is antispasmodic. Tansy has been used as a vermifuge and for scabies, menstrual disorders and rheumatic pain.
Toxicity
Thujone is a known central nervous system depressant, and should not be used in pregnancy.
