[¦ȯd·ə¦mad·ik ′kəl·ər kən‚trōl] (electronics) A circuit used in a color television receiver to keep color intensity levels essentially constant despite variations in the strength of the received color signal; control is usually achieved by varying the gain of the chrominance band-pass amplifier.
