Tao-Klardzheti

a historical region in Georgia, situated in the Chorokh River basin. Tao-Klardzheti included some of the southern provinces, among them Tao, Tortumi, Ispir, Klardzheti, Shavsheti, and Imer-Khevi. In the ninth century the Tao-Klardzheti Principality was formed in Tao-Klardzheti.
