Special Features:Reeds Gap is a natural water gap in Hightop, also called Thick Mountain. In the mid-1800s the park's namesakes set up a water-powered sawmill just inside the western boundary of the present park, and part of the water-storage dam is still visible along the Honey Creek Trail loop.
