Reexport Translations
Reexport
Reexport the export of raw-material commodities previously imported into a country, done so that the commodities can be resold to other countries. Commodities are reexported either unaltered or after insignificant external processing, such as cleaning, sorting, or repackaging. The commodities most commonly reexported are wool, hides, rubber, nonferrous metals, and food and condiments. Reexport developed extensively in the period of industrial capitalism, particularly in England. In the epoch of the general crisis of capitalism it has lost its former importance. |
