This feature of the reflex camera allows the photographer to frame the picture precisely, to adjust the depth of the image space for the object to be photo-graphed, and to measure the illumination of the object. Reflex cameras are especially well suited for operation with inter-changeable lenses, since the mirror viewfinder eliminates the necessity of correcting the framing and the focusing of the camera after changing lenses.
