Perseverantia

Perseverantia

(religion, spiritualism, and occult)

Perseverantia, asteroid 975 (the 975th asteroid to be discovered, on March 27, 1922), is approximately 24 kilometers in diameter and has an orbital period of 4.8 years. Its name is a personification of perseverance. In a natal chart, Perseverantia’s location by sign and house indicates where and how one is most likely to be persevering. When afflicted by inharmonious aspects, Perseverantia can show lack of perseverance or a pattern of persevering in situations one should abandon. If prominent in a chart (e.g., conjunct the Sun or the ascendant), it may suggest an exceptionally persevering person or an individual for whom cultivating perseverance is a life goal.
