Tarasovskii

an urban-type settlement and administrative center of Tarasovskii Raion, Rostov Oblast, RSFSR. Situated on the Glubokaia River, a tributary of the Severskii Donets. Tarasovskii has a railroad station on the Millerovo-Rostov-on-Don line. Enterprises include combines for the production of building materials and food, a butter factory, a poultry hatchery, and a sovkhoz for fattening livestock.
