Ai-Todor

Ai-Todor

a cape on the south shore of the Crimea, 8.5 km southwest of Yalta, bounding the west side of Yalta Bay. It represents a calcareous spur of Mount Mogabi, jutting into the Black Sea. On one of its steep cliffs is the Swallow’s Nest Castle, built in pseudo-Gothic style in the late 19th century. Ruins remain of the Roman military camp Harax, which existed during the third to first centuries B.C.
