Aiudag

(Turkic, Bear Mountain), a cupola-shaped mountain and a cape on the south shore of the Crimea, 2.5 km northeast of Gurzuf. Height, 572 m. The slopes are steep and precipitous. The Aiudag is composed of magmatic rocks and is a laccolith. It is covered by forests and thickets. The Lenin Artek All-Union Pioneer Camp is located near Aiudag’s southwest foothill.
