Vikulov, Vladimir Ivanovich
Born July 20, 1946, in Moscow. Soviet athlete; hockey player. Honored Master of Sport (1967). Officer in the Soviet Army. Member of the CPSU since 1971.
Vikulov has repeatedly been champion of the USSR (1966, 1968, and 1970), the world (1966-71), and Europe (1966-70). He was a champion at the Winter Olympic Game (1968) and holder of the Cup of the USSR (1966-69) and the Cup of European Champions (1969-70) for ice hockey. As one of the best forwards in modern hockey, Vikulov was included on a symbolic all-world team (1970).
